D.O.A. Hole is a Trivia team that competes in 88.1 KVSC's annual 50 Hour Trivia Marathon. Operating out of a small town in central Minnesota, we gather resources, friends and family, and Trivia Pudding® to enjoy each others company and try like crazy to answer the questions posed to us over the radio.Â
Alrighty folks. we've made the plunge and decided to give the "Worlds Largest Trivia Contest" a whirl. April 16-18, we'll be hosting D.O.A. Hole's virgin romp through the second oldest trivia contest (we'll have to wait until May to do the oldest contest). 90FM out of Stevens Point, WI, is pull out the stops for another 54 hours, much like our own local contest but with a few different twists - it should be great time. It's a strictly for fun affair and no pressure accept the pressure to have a good time. Wish us all luck!
Sending some kinda message like "I'm playin' for keeps!", Ann gets first blood on Dead Pool 2010 with Merlin Olson. It's been a quiet month since the new picks and some people were starting to get a little edgy. I wonder how the Grim Reaper feels about this? Is he just letting her have one to make her feel welcome? Who knows? Anyone wanna take bets on the next one? I'm laying odds on John...
Joe "the Grim Reaper" Reagan takes the grisley Dead Pool trophy home for the third time with three marks off his list. An exciting year with seven ties until Joe finalizes things in the last couple of weeks.
That also means there's a new list of picks and they've finally been posted and last years results archived. Make note of this years new twist, the Feel Good Lucky pick. John's luck hit with Michael Jackson inspired the new choice where everyone made an extra eleventh pick. They could'nt be over 50 and not publicly diagnosed with a terminal illness. Some people went with straight feel good picks and some were looking strategically at whose been recently hospitalized with what. Either way, there's a very good list this year and I can't wait to see who gets First Blood and when.
Had a good time, I'me still feeling last night, thank God I took two days off after trivia.
