... but not enough to get the trophy from Joe. Francis Reid made Russ the 7th person on our Dead Pool with two hits this year, that's not including Joe who has three. Make sure you have your picks ready by 3:00 today, check your celebrity illness index and be prepared!
With less than 8 hours to go, things are spinning into overdrive and things are flying around as usual as the HQ gets itself settled into shape. Be sure to check out the live (every 30 seconds) webcam feed and watch how we're doing at www.kvsc.org. |

OK. Becky and I love to watch baaaaaad movies. Some are worse than others. And then there are the worst. This is a short post about one of them with silvery-brown lining.
The movie: MONSTURD! This is one horrible movie. Writing, story, acting, effects - nothing redeemable about it. Why we watched the entire thing is beyond us. In the end (heh), out of laziness, I didn't immediately turn the movie off and let the credits roll as we wondered why we just wasted the last hour and a half. Then this happened...
Number Two: The Ballad of the Monsturd
A little gem buried in the waste of all that celluloid just waiting to be found. Click it and enjoy. |

At least of this posting. I've added the best waste of technology any team can have (besides a fart machine but they're both fun). A webcam at the HQ. Sure, it's worthless, but we can make a time-lapse video when it's all over and post it to Youtube like a few other teams have. I love jumping on bandwagons! It's on the left if anyone hasn't noticed it yet. And of course you get what you get between now and Fri., which won't be much. :)
In other news, some of the team met this weekend and had a great time, some of us more than others... We got the basics of the HQ set up; tables, books, and today I got the power supplies and network settled. Things are looking good and should be smooth (crossing fingers here).
Reminder to those who haven't paid for shirts/coffee mugs yet - shirts are $15 and coffee cups are $5. We have extra shirts and coffee cups. (lots of coffee cups!) |
